The Results Of The Examination By The Chairman Of The DKI DPRD Regarding The Interpellation Of Formula E Will Be Completed Next Week

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Achmad Nawawi, said that the results of the examination by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, will be completed next week.

Currently, said Nawawi, the Honorary Board of DPRD is finalizing the report to Prasetyo's examination of the issue of holding a plenary meeting to determine the interpellation rights for Formula E.

"It is being finalized. God willing, it will be finished next week", said Nawawi in a short message, Friday, March 4.

As is known, on September 28, 2021, four deputy chairmen of the DKI DPRD and seven factions of the DKI DPRD reported Prasetyo to the Honorary Board of the DKI DPRD for allegedly ignoring the DPRD rules and regulations by holding a Formula E interpellation plenary meeting.

The seven factions are Gerindra, PKS, Democrat, Golkar, Nasdem, PAN, and PKB-PPP.

Four months later, the DPRD BK finally summoned Prasetyo for questioning. Prasetyo's examination was held in the plenary meeting room on Wednesday, February 9.

After being questioned at that time, Prasetyo considered himself innocent because he had scheduled an interpellation plenary meeting. This is because, although the interpellation plenary meeting was proposed by Consultative Body suddenly at the meeting, he considered it permissible.

"Because this is my clarification, I don't feel guilty to this day. It means that the entire interpellation is legal. The Consultative Body (meeting schedule) can increase and decrease", said Prasetyo at the DKI DPRD Building, Wednesday, February 9.

After all, said Prasetyo, if the seven DPRD factions who reported it to the Honorary Body did not want a plenary session of Interpellation Formula E, they could present it at the plenary meeting directly, instead of being absent and reporting himself.

"Where did I go wrong? Actually, we all know the problem, it must be resolved. What method will it be resolved? Yes, it will be completed. If it is not a quorum, then it will be completed again. I am still suspending the plenary session for the interpellation because it is not a quorum", he explained.
