JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) revealed that the level of public satisfaction with the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is still quite high based on a survey this February.

"In February 2022, the level of satisfaction with the president's performance was at 66.3 percent. It's still good, so the majority expressed satisfaction with Mr. Jokowi's performance as president", said LSI Executive Director, Djayadi Hanan, when presenting the results of his agency's online survey, Thursday, March 3.

Of this number, this institution noted that 7.5 percent of respondents stated that they were very satisfied; quite satisfied 58.8 percent; dissatisfied 23.7 percent; and 6.2 percent of respondents said they were not satisfied at all.

Although this satisfaction rate is high, it turns out that there is a significant decrease compared to the survey results in December 2021. Djayadi revealed that in that month the public satisfaction rate with President Jokowi's performance reached 71.4 percent.

"There is a decrease in the president's satisfaction level when compared to December 2021 based on this survey. From 71.4 percent to 66.3 percent", he said.

The results of this survey also record an assessment of the economic, political, and legal conditions in Indonesia. Most of the respondents considered the economic condition and law enforcement in the country to be bad.

"The condition of the national economy in February 2022, those who rated it badly were still higher than those who rated it well", said Djayadi.

In the survey results, it was noted that respondents who chose a very good community economic assessment were at 3.1 percent; good 20.1 percent; medium 31.7 percent; bad 37.9 percent; and a very poor 4.1 percent. Meanwhile, there was 3.1 percent of respondents did not answer.

Meanwhile, for the condition of national law enforcement, those who answered very well were 1.8 percent, good 27.9 percent, moderate 29.9 percent, bad 31.0 percent, and very bad 2.7 percent. No answer 6.6 percent.
