JAKARTA - A man with the initials SMS, (29) who lived in Bumi Housing, Asri Saga, Balaraja, Tangerang Regency was killed by his uncle, JSR (31). It is known that the victim was killed because the perpetrator was hurt because he was often asked to pay a debt of IDR 10 million.

For information, the murder took place at Bumi Housing, Asri Saga, Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, Friday, February 25 at 02.00 western Indonesia time.

"The motive is hurt, so the perpetrator has a debt with the victim's mother of IDR 10 million, and then this SMS is often asked him to pay," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at Balaraja Police, Insp. Jarot Sudarsono when contacted, Saturday, January 26.

Jarot said that the perpetrator had owed the victim's mother since December 2021. On that basis, SMS often collects the debt of the perpetrator.

"It has been billed since December. Maybe because the bill is too often, (so) the perpetrator has the intention to kill the victim, he has brought a knife similar to a keris from home," he said.

Previously it was reported, In that incident, the perpetrator suddenly came to the victim's house with a sharp weapon (sajam) type of keris. There was pushing, but in the end, the victim was stabbed by the perpetrator in the chest.

"The point is that he broke into the house, went straight into the room. When he entered the room, the knife was already open from the sheath and he was pushing with the victim and the victim's wife. Go straight into the chest, stab into the chest," he said.

Meanwhile, when she saw her husband died after being stabbed by the perpetrator, the victim's wife ran away and asked for help outside the house.

"When her husband was stabbed, his wife ran and asked for help, and reported to the police," he said.

The police, who received the report, immediately moved to arrest the perpetrator. As a result, Friday, February 25, at 03.00 western Indonesia time, JSR was successfully secured.

"Around the TKP, so less than 24 hours. So the incident at 2, was arrested at 3, he has been secured. Because the location of the police station and the incident was not too far away, then when they were on patrol, there were members of the Criminal Investigation Unit there, so they immediately secured him," he said.
