COVID-19 Begins To Decrease, Head Of Tangerang City Education Office Says This Regarding PTM

TANGERANG - The case of COVID-19 in Tangerang City has begun to decline, Head of the Tangerang City Education Office (Kadisdik) Jamaluddin has spoken about face-to-face learning (PTM).

"We'll just have to wait for Mr. Mayor. Because after all, the COVID-19 task force will evaluate it from the Health Service," said Jamaluddin when confirmed, Friday, February 25.

Jamaluddin admits that he really hopes that PTM will be held again. However, he could only surrender, leaving the decision from the Mayor of Tangerang.

"I also want to hurry personally, (But) We'll wait. Those who know more about the developments of the Health Office, according to his opinion, how are they doing," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Tangerang City Health Office (Dinkes) noted that the daily number of COVID-19 cases in its area had decreased. On Sunday, February 20, 903 people were confirmed positive.

"If you look at the data for the last seven days, it tends to go down. If you learn from the peak of transmission cases in the past, if the positive rate drops, the number of cases will also decrease," said the Head of Tangerang City Health Office, dr Dini Anggraeni, Monday, February 21.

Dini explained that the spike in COVID-19 cases in Tangerang City began to increase when entering February 2022. Even the number had reached 1,500 to 2,000 cases.

"The highest addition was recorded on Saturday, February 12 with 2,253 cases," he explained.

"Even though we both know that at the beginning of the year there were very few daily COVID-19 cases in Tangerang City, only single digits, the highest was only seven cases," he continued.

Regarding the Bed Ocupancy Rate (BOR) both in hospitals (hospitals) it decreased to 51.85 percent from the previous 55 percent.

Meanwhile, the Concentrated Isolation House (RIT) has dropped to 19.30 percent from the previous figure of 40.48 percent.
