JAKARTA - The Indonesian Political Indicators Survey Institute released survey findings regarding community responses with segmentation by region for the transmission of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

Senior Researcher for Political Indicators Rizka Halida explained that residents of DKI Jakarta were at least worried about Omicron transmission compared to residents of other regions.

"From various socio-demographic categories, generally they are quite worried about contracting Omicron, except for DKI residents who generally feel normal," Rizka said in a virtual survey presentation, Sunday, February 20.

In detail, 38.4 percent of Jakarta residents said they were worried about the transmission of the Omicron variant, then 56 percent felt normal, and 5.6 percent said they were not worried about being exposed to Omicron.
