Minister Bahlil Gives Appreciation To Anies Baswedan's Men For Investment Affairs In DKI

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government through the Investment Agency and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) received an award from the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM) for the achievement of investment realization in 2021.

The Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia, expressed his appreciation for the performance of the DKI Jakarta DPMPTSP which has served permits so that investment realization in 2021 will increase compared to the previous year.

Bahlil invites DPMPTSP in all regions of Indonesia to be diligent in visiting investors to deal with the obstacles they face.

In addition, he also assessed that licensing for MSMEs is important considering that the sector contributes 60 percent to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The number of MSMEs in Indonesia is recorded at 64.3 million or about 99.7 percent of the total business population.

"Investments that are taken care of should not only be big ones. We must also take care of MSMEs because MSMEs are important. MSMEs contribute 60 percent to GDP," said Bahlil.

Meanwhile, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, said that Jakarta is not only the capital of the country, but also Southeast Asia.

Anies considered Jakarta to be the largest city in ASEAN as an economic and business center.
