JAKARTA - The Tamansari Metro Police have imposed sanctions on 42 residents for not complying with health protocols by wearing masks.

The sanction was given when joint officers held an orderly operation on masks on Jalan Blustru, Tamansari, West Jakarta, Wednesday, February 9.

Metro Taman Sari Police Chief, AKBP Rohman Yongky, said the activity was carried out every day during the implementation of PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) Level 3.

"In the judicial operation that was held, we took action against at least 42 people who were found not wearing masks and were given social sanctions", he said when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday, February 9.

Yongky also invites the public to be concerned about complying with government policies by following the order of adaptation of new habits.

In addition to providing sanctions, officers also gave 500 masks to the public.
