Upset, Often Scolded, Husband Takes Knife And Machete, Wife Also Dies Covered In Blood On A Thin Mattress

TANGERANG - A wife with the initials NW (54) in Sepatan, Tangerang Regency died after being killed by her husband, N (56). It is said that the husband was annoyed with his wife because he was often scolded.

Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said the incident occurred on Tuesday, February 8, at 18.30 WIB.

"According to the initial confession, because (the victim) was often scolded," said Komarudin when confirmed, Tuesday, February 8.

Komarudin explained that the incident began when the husband and wife were arguing. Until finally the husband took a sharp weapon (sajam) type of knife and stabbed the victim.

"So at first, there was an argument, then the perpetrator or allegedly the husband of the victim was annoyed by taking a knife up here, a knife that is used for trading every day," he said.

According to the perpetrator's confession during interrogation, the victim (his wife) managed to fend off and took a knife from the perpetrator's hand. However, it did not end there, the perpetrator again took a machete from the top of the cupboard at his house. There was a fight between the two with sharp weapons.

"After that, because the knife was seized by the wife, the perpetrator took a machete on the cupboard and then slashed the victim's body," he explained.

In the photo at the scene, when found, the husband was wearing cream colored shorts, without a shirt, lying next to his wife's body. While the position of the victim (wife) wearing trousers and a t-shirt, with a position lying sideways.

The couple was on a thin mattress. Meanwhile, blood was seen splattered in the dark-looking room. The case is currently under investigation by the Tangerang Metro Police.
