SDI Encourages Integration And Implementation Of Data Governance

Jakarta - Member of the Secretariat of One Indonesian Data (SDI) of the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN) / Bappenas, Agung Indrajit said SDI encourages integration and implementation of national data governance.

"SDI encourages data integration and regulates the implementation of data governance from central to regional agencies to support development planning, implementation, improvement, and control," Agung said in an online discussion.

Referring to Presidential Regulation 39/2019, he continued, SDI aims to provide implementation guidelines and guidelines for implementing data governance; realize the availability of data that is accurate, integrated, and easily shared between agencies; encouraging data transparency; to support national statistical systems.

Therefore, Agung added, SDI is the idea of ​​the Indonesian government's program to increase the effectiveness of data-based policymaking.

Agung also hopes that Indonesia has digital sovereignty and independence, and that its people can use digital.

"Therefore, there is a need for integration between the central government, regional governments, academics, organizations, and the wider community," he said.

This can be achieved through SDI and the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) or better known as E-Government.

The SPBE is divided into six parts, namely governance of technology-based government systems; electronic-based government system management; and information and communication technology audits.

Furthermore, the administration of an electronic-based government system; acceleration of the electronic-based government system; and monitoring and evaluation of electronic-based government systems.

The acceleration of SPBE implementation will be completed in two years including integration in planning, budgeting, procurement of goods and services; service personnel between BKN and government agencies; e-document shipping; and public service complaints.

Then, the ICT infrastructure will be completed within 3 years, in particular there are National Data Centers and Intra-Government Networks.
