JAKARTA – Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief AKBP Haris Kurniawan commented on the viral video of three young men lying at the Gelora Bung Karno Bus Stop. According to Haris, the victim was a victim of theft with violence or robbery.

The police chief said that the victim was chased by the perpetrators by driving several motorbikes from near Blok M towards the Torch Statue on Sisinga Mangaraja Street, Kebayoran, South Jakarta.

"We took their visas. We submitted their visas last night. Then we coordinate with South Jakarta, especially the Kebayoran Police. Because the initial location is in South Jakarta," he said.

The police chief said that after the victim was taken to the hospital, the officers were interrogated.

"The stabbing was in the area before the torch statue, still in the South Jakarta area. They were already being chased by three motorbikes there, and then moved aside to enter Sudirman. Sudirman closed, he broke through. Meanwhile, the group didn't dare to chase," he said.

As a result of the incident, one victim was stabbed with a sharp weapon. Meanwhile, the other victim suffered broken wounds after the motorbike he was driving crashed into the pavement at the Fx Sudirman first door stop.

As a result of the incident, the victim with the initials NA (15) a student suffered open wounds to the head, back and thighs due to being hit by a sharp weapon. The victim is listed as a resident of Jalan Hanglekir 2, Kebayoran Village, South Jakarta.
