President Jokowi Attends The Inauguration Of PBNU Management In Balikpapan

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo left for East Kalimantan, Monday, January 31, for a working visit, including the agenda to attend the Inauguration of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) for the 2022-2027 Solemn Period and the 96th Harlah of NU.

Using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Plane, the President wearing a suit and cap, as well as a green-red-patterned sarong took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Monday morning, according to an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.

Upon arrival at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman International Airport, Balikpapan City, the President will go directly to the Balikpapan Sport and Convention Center to attend the Inauguration of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) for the 2022-2027 Solemn Period and the 96th Harlah of NU.

After the event, the President plans to move to Sepinggan Market, Sepinggan District, Balikpapan City to hand over direct cash assistance for traders.

The Head of State is then scheduled to chair a limited meeting to evaluate the implementation of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) virtually from Balikpapan City before taking off back to Jakarta.

Also accompanying the President on the flight to East Kalimantan Province were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Presidential Secretariat Media Bey Machmudin.
