Christmas Moment, Mahakam Ulu Regent Elected To Embrace All Parties, Including Those Who Did Not Support Him In The Pilkada
JAKARTA - Mahakam Ulu Regent was elected in the 2024 Pilkada Owena Mayang Shari Belawan admitted that he would embrace all parties, including those who did not support him in the 2024 Pilkada.
With the momentum of the 2024 Christmas celebration, Owena Mayang also emphasized that the victory she won was the people's victory, especially in Mahakam Ulu, East Kalimantan.
"With the victory we won in the 2024 Pilkada, it could be our victory with the Mahakam Ulu community to be even better," Owena said in his statement, Wednesday, December 25.
In particular, Owena admitted that he would continue to carry out the mandate of his party, Gerindra Party. Although, in the 2024 Pilkada, Owena did not get a suspension ticket from the party made by Prabowo Subianto.
"I, as a cadre of the Gerindra party, will continue to obey and be committed to carrying out President Prabowo Subianto's orders to continue serving the community as best as possible," he said.

Owena Mayang Shari, who was paired with Stanislaus Liah, is known to have won a landslide victory by winning a total of 9,930 votes from Mahakam Ulu residents. He ran for the Mahakam Ulu Pilbup with three political parties, namely PKB, PAN, and Democrats.
With regard to that, President Prabowo Subianto revealed that winning and losing are common in general elections. Therefore, he asked the winning and losing candidate pairs to work together.
"Yes, every election wins, there are losers. Yes, we have to work together," Prabowo said after using the 2024 Pilkada voting rights in Bojong Koneng, Bogor, Wednesday, November 27.
According to Prabowo, the winning pair must be a leader for all. While the losers must work together with those who are indeed for the people.
"The winner must be a leader for all, the losers must work together. The important thing is to serve the people, to work for the people," he said.
