Today, Three Surabaya District Court Judges Undergo First Trial Of The Bribery Case Of Ronald Tannur's Verdict

The three inactive judges of the Surabaya District Court (PN) will face their first trial at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, December 24.

They were tried on suspicion of a bribery case in the processing of acquittal for Gregorius Ronald Tannur, the perpetrator of the murder of his girlfriend, Dini Sera Afriyanti.

"The agenda for the first trial," reads the statement in the Central Jakarta District Court Case Investigation Information System (SIPP).

The three inactive judges of the Surabaya District Court who will undergo the trial are Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindyo, and Mangapul Manalu. The agenda for this inaugural trial is the reading of the indictment by the public prosecutor (JPU).

The trial is scheduled to take place at 10.00 WIB in the Kusuma Atmadja room, Central Jakarta District Court, and is open to the public. This allows the public to take part in the trial in person.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office has named six people as suspects. In addition to the three judges, the other suspects are Lisa Rahmat (lawyers), Zarof Ricar (former Supreme Court officials), and Meirizka Widjaja, the mother of Ronald Tannur.

Meirizka is suspected of giving bribes worth Rp3.5 billion to the judges with the aim of having his son, Ronald Tannur, get acquittal in a murder case. Now, the three judges suspected of being involved in the scandal are undergoing legal proceedings in the inaugural trial in Jakarta.
