South Kalimantan Police Examine Allegations Of Disposal Of Liquid Waste Duta Mall Banjarmasin

BANJARMASIN - South Kalimantan Police are examining allegations of dismantling liquid waste by the largest shopping center in Banjarmasin City, Banjarmasin Mall Ambassador.

"Members of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Kalsel together with UPTD officers and the Environment Agency have gone to the field to check," said Head of Public Relations of the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 22.

Officers have taken liquid waste samples to be tested to ensure whether the waste meets environmental standards or violates applicable regulations.

The examination was carried out following reports from residents who claimed to be affected by the liquid waste.

The liquid waste allegedly originating from the Ambassador Mall has polluted the surrounding environment, including the yard of a house belonging to the Tunggara Varensia.

The Banjarmasin Mall Ambassador as the reported party is planned to be summoned to provide clarification.

This case has attracted public attention because it involves the responsibility of large companies to the environment.

The Director of Criminal Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes M. Gafur Aditya H. Siregar, appealed to the affected people to report and provide information to strengthen the investigation process.
