Allegations Of Corruption In The EPC Division Of PTPP Allegedly State Loss Of Up To Rp80 Billion
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the alleged corruption in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) division of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PTPP) was detrimental to state finances. The amount is likely to reach tens of billions of rupiah.
"It is suspected that it is detrimental to state finances, which is based on the results of a temporary calculation in the case of approximately Rp. 80 billion," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters, Saturday, December 21.
Tessa has not yet detailed the mode of corruption that caused the loss. He only said that two people had been named as suspects.
Currently, the KPK has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent two people from leaving the country. These efforts are to make it easier for investigators to make requests for information in the future.
"This decision is valid for six months," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.
