JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Industry (Wamenperin) Faisol Riza invites one of the multinational technology companies, Huawei, to contribute to the improvement of human resources (HR) and technological transformation in Indonesia.

Faisol assessed that the transformation of technology and improving the quality of human resources towards Indonesia Gold 2045 requires the contribution of various parties, including the electronic industry sector.

"Huawei's involvement is quite important to support our efforts in developing technology in Indonesia. Hopefully in the future Huawei's investment and business in Indonesia will run well," said Faisol in a written statement quoted on Saturday, December 21.

He appreciated Huawei's move to bring advanced business and technology into Indonesia.

In order to ensure that the implementation of the industry in Indonesia runs smoothly, Faisol hopes that Huawei will actively provide suggestions if it encounters problems related to government services.

Furthermore, Faisol asked Huawei to continue to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in order to increase the competitiveness of the domestic industry and boost national economic growth.

"Regarding this, Huawei can also start considering doing several things, including developing technology and building factories," he said.

On the same occasion, Huawei Indonesia CFO Jennifer Feng positively welcomed Wamenperin Faisol's visit to the Huawei Innovation Center. Jennifer hopes that in the future she can cooperate with the Government of Indonesia.
