He asked all ranks to prepare for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays to be carried out as well as possible, as directed by President Prabowo Subianto.

"We urge all services to be provided as well as possible in accordance with the direction of the President," said Sigit.

Sigit said a number of activities were the main concern in securing the holiday at the end of this year. It is hoped that all people can carry out their activities smoothly without interruption.

Meanwhile, Acting Governor of East Java Adhy Karyono advised church administrators to ensure access in and out of the congregation who will worship Christmas on December 25. Given, the total capacity of the church reaches 25 thousand people.

Not only that, but guarding and security during the Christmas service is also a special concern.

Adhy said good coordination and synergy between the TNI, Polri and volunteers will continue to be carried out to maximize the security of Christmas worship.

"Security, I think here is very good. There are 74 CCTV monitors, plus we are assisted by the TNI and Polri so we are sure that this year's Christmas celebration service will run safely, peacefully and smoothly," he said.

Adhy also conveyed a message to all people of East Java to always maintain religious harmony and respect each other.

"Hopefully all kinship, harmony and brotherhood between us and one another can be well established and circulated because I believe the people of East Java can maintain this harmonization well," he said.
