Six RTs In Marunda And Pluit Affected By Rob Floods
Six Neighborhood Units (RT) in Marunda and Pluit sub-districts are still affected by tidal flooding or coastal flooding in North Jakarta today, Sunday, December 15.
"BPBD noted that the current inundation occurred in six RTs and two roads," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji in a statement in Jakarta.
Of the total six RTs, there are three RTs each in Marunda Village and three RTs in Pluit Village as many as 3 RTs.
In the latest information until 11.00 WIB, the DKI BPBD recorded flood heights reaching 40 centimeters (cm) in three RTs located in Marunda Village.
Meanwhile, in Pluit Village, the flood height reached 80-90 cm which affected three RTs in the area.
In addition to the six RTs, two roads were inundated as high as 25-30 cm located on Jalan RE Martadinata or in front of JIS, Papanggo Village, Tanjung Priok. In addition, Jalan Lodan Raya, Ancol Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta.
Meanwhile, Jalan Cipeucang, Lagoa Village, Koja District, which was previously inundated, has now receded and can be crossed by vehicles.

The tidal flood was caused by high tides, causing the Fish Market floodgates to be "dangerous" or "Alert 1" on Sunday morning at 08.00 WIB.
BPBD noted that there were no refugees due to this tidal flood. However, BPBD urges people in coastal areas to remain vigilant, given the phenomenon of maximum tides along with the new moon phase.
Based on warnings from the BMKG, coastal flooding or tidal flooding occurred in the period 11-20 December 2024 due to the phenomenon of the new moon phase.
