Tom Lembong's Wife: We Hope To Get A Fairer Judge

JAKARTA - Thomas Trikasih Lembong's wife, Tom Lembong, Franciska Wihardja, said that she and her family hope that her husband's trial process will later get a fairer judge, so that they can get justice according to existing facts.

"So we hope that from the family we also really hope that Pak Tom will get a fairer judge in the trial later," said Franciska after an audience at the Judicial Commission (KY) office, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 12.

He revealed, in the trial process at the Jakarta Corruption Court later, it is hoped that the disclosure of the facts of the trial can be more transparent, so that the truth will be revealed truly.

"Yes, we hope that everything can be more transparent, because we strictly comply with and follow the law in Indonesia," said the wife of the former 2015-2016 Minister of Trade.

He also thanked KY for taking the initiative to monitor the judicial processes that have been carried out in the last few weeks.

It is hoped that KY will also actively monitor the trial process, as a form of maintaining the judicial process in accordance with the law or regulations.

The Judicial Commission (KY) received a complaint from the legal team from Thomas Trikasih Lembong (TTL) or Tom Lembong, who became a suspect in the sugar import case at the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) in 2015 2016, on Thursday.

Currently, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) is still examining a number of witnesses and experts, before transferring the case to the Central Jakarta Corruption Court.

To date, the number of witnesses and experts who have been examined in the sugar import corruption case is 126 witnesses and three experts.

Meanwhile, previously the sole judge of the South Jakarta District Court (Jaksel), Tumpanuli Marbun, had rejected the pretrial filed by Tom Lembong.
