The Community Is Invited To Optimize "Access By KAI" For Ticket Messages

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) advises the public to use the Access by KAI application to order tickets to make it easier to travel by train, especially during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays.

"For people who want to travel by train, just download Access by KAI and buy tickets at Access by KAI or other partners," said PT KAI VP Public Relations Anne Purba during a journalist conference session in Jakarta, quoted Thursday 12 December.

Anne added that in the past two days, there will be a special price for prospective passengers for trains with a direct train from Gambir-Jakarta Station to Tawang Station, Semarang (PP) without stopping at a number of stations that have been passed, with a departure period of December 9, 2024, and the opposite route is Tawang Station, Semarang to Gambir, Jakarta on December 10, 2024.

"Especially for the past two days (9-10 December 2024) we have a 50 percent discount to be able to enjoy trains directly from Jakarta to Semarang," he added.

Furthermore, his party also reminded prospective passengers to prepare the travel plan as best they could before the day of departure.

"If we can plan a trip, we will be able to order in advance," he said.

Meanwhile, to deal with unfavorable weather in recent times, he called on KAI service users who brought small children to prepare comfortable clothes for the baby.

No less important, he asked users to always pay attention to safety for passengers when boarding and getting off the train.

On the same occasion, Executive Vice President of Passenger Transport Marketing and Sales of PT KAI Krisna Arianto also reminded prospective passengers to arrive at the station on time, at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.

"Anticipate if there is traffic jams on the road, don't let it come to the station. It's safe at least half an hour (on arrival at the station)," he concluded.
