Starring Sutena And Kiesha Alvaro, Eva's Last Climbing Film Offers Adventure Horrors

JAKARTA - The horror drama film titled Eva Climbing directed by Dedy Mercy is ready to be shown in all Indonesian cinemas starting January 16. This film combines elements of horror, local trust, and emotional dramas that tell the story of mountain climbing but turn into a tragedy.

Starring Bulan Sutena and Kiesha Alvaro, producer executive Niken Septikasari explained that the main inspiration behind making this film is the story of a female climber who survives in various conditions.

"We want to tell how someone who is full of kindness can survive in a very difficult condition. Eva's figure illustrates the strength of goodness and help of God always comes to those who are kind," Niken said in a media statement, Thursday, December 12.

According to him, Eva Penjakian Terakhir's film not only presents tensions, but also teaches the values of life, such as respecting nature and customary rules.

Playing Eva, Bulan became the main character who was grieving at the loss of her mother. This film presents a deep emotional journey for the character played by the girl with cheeks.

In an effort to entertain Eva, her best friend Pasha (Kiesha Alvaro) invited her to climb the mountain in South Sulawesi, a mountain known as the mystical and challenging terrain. Bulan Sutena admits that she is interested in playing Eva because of the unique and relevant film story with her experience.

"This film is very interesting because it carries the theme of climbing and nature, something I really like. I also feel connected to Eva's character," he said.

The shooting process conducted at Gunung Kidul provides a unique experience for the Moon, including various mystical experiences that he experienced himself.

"At that time there was a scene where I slept. I don't know why I was really asleep. The crew said there was a sighting in front of me, and I sniffed my face," recalled the girl whose full name was Wayan Bulan Yurriana Sutena.

Meanwhile, against playing the Moon, Kiesha Alvaro is interested in this film because Indonesian films that tell the story of climbing adventures and friendship are rare.

"Lastly, maybe the 5 CM film, right? Well, this film also tells the story of friendship and climbing adventures but is covered in a horror story. There are many plot twists in this film," said Kiesha.

He added that the story of this film also offers a combination of emotions that are rarely found in Indonesian horror films. "Even though the theme is horror, this film presents dramas, comedy, and friendship that make viewers have to always focus from the start of the film," explained Kiesha.
