"By removing thick camouflage, we can do more comprehensive, detailed, and large-scale testing to ensure product quality and produce superior vehicles," he said.

By design, YU7 uses the same design language as the very popular Xiaomi SU7. The front maintains a closed display, with a headlights and a familiar form of fasia.

The back looks like this electric car is equipped with a wide and roof spoiler, which adds to the sporty impression in the SUV which is the second model of Xiaomi.

In dimensions, this electric car measures a length of 4,999 mm, a width of 1,996 mm, and a height of 1,600 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. YU7 offers a wide 5-seater configuration.

YU7 powered by a dual motor system, with front motors generating a maximum power of 220 kW and rear motors generating 288 kW. Initial specifications revealed by MIIT submission show that this is the same driving system found in SU7 AWD. If true, the battery should have a similar capacity of 101 kWh, which should result in considerable distance.

Although the details of the official price are still kept secret, YU7 should be slightly more expensive than SU7, which starts at 215,900 yuan or around Rp473 million.
