JAKARTA - Mark NCT will start his promotion as a soloist at the end of this year. The promotion will begin with the first single released on December 16.

Tuesday, December 10, Mark reportedly collaborated with rapper Lee Young Ji for this single. The news was confirmed by Lee Young Ji's agency.

"Lee Young Ji will participate as a collaborator for Mark NCT's new single," said Lee Young Ji's representative.

This news was also welcomed by the two of them who shared several news stories about their collaboration on social media. Lee Young Ji is known as one of the idols who voiced his admiration for Mark as a member of NCT.

In addition, the SM Entertainment agency announced the postponement of the release of Mark's solo album, which was originally scheduled for February 2025.

"To improve the quality of Mark's first solo album, the release schedule which was all done in February 2025, we decided to postpone it until April 2025," SM Entertainment said the day before.

"Given that this album has been prepared for a long time, we ask for fans' understanding of this decision after in-depth discussions," the agency said.

Before releasing the album, Mark will launch a single as a soloist on December 16 with Lee Young Ji.
