Easycash And Superbank Focus On Taking Advantage Of Technology To Expand Its Services

JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Fintopia Technology (Easycash) and PT Super Bank Indonesia (Superbank) agreed to increase the existing partnership, to expand the number of loan channels in Indonesia.

The two companies have been working together since December 2023. However, with this expansion, they are committed to strengthening financial inclusion by focusing on technology utilization and expanding service reach to areas that have not previously been optimized.

"The success of our collaboration with Superbank in the first phase shows a strong commitment from both parties in supporting financial inclusion in Indonesia," said Easycash President Director, Dicky P. Djatmiko.

Since it was first inaugurated, the partnership with Superbank has helped Easycash to channel accumulative loan of Rp. 16.18 trillion to more than six million recipients of funds, especially among underserved and underbanked communities in Indonesia.

This extension of cooperation is expected to further expand market reach. Because based on Easycash data, most borrowers are still concentrated on the island of Java, so this collaboration is expected to help expand access to other regions in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Superbank's Chief Business Officer, Sukiwan, stated, "Our collaboration with Easycash proves the strength of partnerships in expanding financial access for people who have not been served."

According to Sukiwan, by utilizing Easycash technology and platforms, Superbank can channel funding efficiently while maintaining strong risk management.

This update is also part of Easycash and Superbank's commitment to support the government's agenda in achieving the financial inclusion target as set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Through this collaboration, the two companies hope to be able to strengthen the financial ecosystem in Indonesia, by utilizing technology to provide more inclusive financial solutions and easily accessible to various levels of society.
