OnePlus Ace 5 Reveals Impressive Screen Design With Tipis Bezel

JAKARTA - OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be launched on the Chinese market this December. In the latest series of teasers, Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, shared a real image from Ace 5 featuring the device's elegant design.

Recent images show that OnePlus Ace 5 comes with a flat screen surrounded by ultra-thin bezels. Unfortunately, no technical details regarding the screen were disclosed in the statement. In addition, the image also indicates that Ace 5 may have a metal frame. The design of the back of the device has not been revealed, but is expected to be available in a version with ceramic back, which gives a premium impression.

According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 will be equipped with a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO screen that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that has been optimized for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.5 equivalent performance, providing a remarkable gaming experience with power efficiency and heat management resembling the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

In terms of memory, Ace 5 is expected to offer RAM LPDDR5X 16 GB and UFS 4.0 storage of 512 GB. This device will also carry a battery with a capacity of around 6,000mAh with support for 100W fast charging.

For photography, Ace 5 is likely to have three rear cameras, including a 50 MP main sensor with an OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor. 16 MP resolution front camera will complement selfies and video calls. The device will also be equipped with other features, such as ColorOS 15 based on Android, IR blazer, and slider notification typical of OnePlus.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, which is expected to be launched simultaneously with Ace 5, will use a stronger Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is equipped with a better camera, including a 2x telephoto lens.

Meanwhile, for the global market, OnePlus is preparing for the OnePlus 13 series. In addition to OnePlus 13, the company is predicted to announce OnePlus 13R in January 2025. OnePlus 13R is likely a modified version of Ace 5 with an upgrade to the camera sector.

With a charming design and high-end specifications, OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to be a strong competitor in the premium smartphone market.
