Simon Dawson Appointed As Session Drummer For Iron Maiden Tour Next Year
JAKARTA - After confirming Nicko McBrain (drums) will not participate in The Run For Your Lives Tour next year, Iron Maiden announced Simon Dawson will join as the drummer for the session.

Simon Dawson is from Suffikk, England. He first teamed up with Steve Harris in 2012, with his debut in three songs on British Lion's first album.
They explained that Dawson will have his first gig with Iron Maiden for next year's tour.

Earlier, McBrain, who declared his resignation from the Iron Maiden tour, said that the concert at Allianz Parque, Srypto Paulo, Brazil last weekend was his final show with the band.
"After careful consideration, with sadness and joy, I announce my decision to step down for a moment from a tiring tour routine. I hope this band succeeds."
