Realme Exceeds 200 Million Mobile Sales In Five Years
JAKARTA - The smartphone maker from China, Realme, announced that it has shipped more than 200 million mobile phones since its establishment approximately five years ago. Most of the products are even sold outside China. The data shows that Realme is the fastest mobile phone maker to reach this milestone.
Realme, which is owned by Chinese hardware consumer giant BBK Electronics, which also has Oppo and Vivo brands, said it reached 200 million in the second quarter.
Data from market analysis firm Counterpoint Research shows that only four companies - Vivo, Huawei, Samsung, and Apple - need shorter time to sell the same number of units. In total, there are only 14 companies worldwide that have shipped more than 200 million mobile phones to date.
