This Year, 13 Toll Roads Operate Until October 2023
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Toll Road Regulatory Agency or BPJT revealed that as many as 13 toll roads operate until October 2023.
"As of January to October 2023, as many as 13 toll roads operate with a total length of 189.11 km," said Head of BPJT Miftachul Munir in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, November 27.
He said the operation of the toll road started from the Semarang-Demak Toll Road Section 2 Sayung-Demak along 16.01 km, followed by the Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road Section 2A Jakasampurna-Marga Jaya along 4.88 km, and the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road Section 3A Kukusan-Krurut Section 3.5 km.
Selanjutnya, Jalan Tol Sigli-Banda Aceh Seksi 5 dan 6 Blang Bintang'kuto Baro sepanjang 12,71 km, Jalan Tol Cibitung-Cilincing Seksi 4 Taruma Jaya-Cilincing sepanjang 7,285 km, dan Jalan Tol Cimanggis-Cibitung Seksi 2A Jatikarya-Cikeas sepanjang 3,78 km.
Then the Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road Section 4A Probolinggo Timur-Gending along 9.08 km, the Simpang Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road along 63.5 km, and the Cisumdawu Toll Road Section 4-6 Cimalaka-Dawuan along 29.165 km.
Followed by Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road Section 2 Cigombong Cibadak along 11.05 km, the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road for the Stabat-Kuala Bingai Section for 7.55 km.
Then, the Indrapura-Limapuluh Toll Road is 15.15 km long, and the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura Toll Road is 22.85 km long, and the Indrapura-Indrapura Intersection is 5.45 km.

Toll road infrastructure development continues to be carried out by the government through the Ministry of PUPR as a policy to connect barrier-free connectivity between regions for the community to feel the benefits of reducing travel time, opening many new sections, to improving the economy.
From 1978 to October 2023, toll roads in Indonesia have operated for 2,816.7 km on the island of Java, Sumatra Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island, and Bali Island.
The toll road operation is managed by 52 toll road business entities (BUJT) with 73 toll roads and 132 rest and services (TIP).
