Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, Ensures No Fuel Shortages Throughout Indonesia
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif ensures smooth fuel oil (BBM) supply with safe availability and no shortages in all regions in Indonesia.
In a statement in Jakarta, Sunday 26 November, Arifin asked the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) and assigned business entities to work together to fulfill the availability and distribution of fuel throughout Indonesia.
"So far it is going well and make sure there are no shortages," he said, as reported by Antara.
He said this accompanied by the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) Erika Retnowati and BPH Migas Committee Member Iwan Prasetya Adhi when visiting a public fuel filling station (SPBU) in Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua, Saturday 25 November.
Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati said that based on monitoring results at gas stations that have been operating for the last three years, it was found that the price of fuel sold had not changed, namely IDR 10 thousand for Pertalite and IDR 6,800 for Diesel.
"The price has not changed, in accordance with what has been set by the government," he said.
He said the community was grateful because the One Price Fuel Gas Station had been built in that area.
"So, God willing, One Price Fuel can provide benefits to the community. They can easily get fuel at an affordable price," he said.
