OIKN Reveals Two Main Keys To Modern Agriculture At IKN Nusantara
The Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) revealed two main keys related to modern agriculture in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.
"Regarding modern agriculture at IKN Nusantara, there are two things that need to be considered. First, by applying new technology to increase agricultural productivity. So it's not like business as usual but issuing new technology," said OIKN Head Bambang Susantono in Jakarta, Saturday.
Second, related to the environment, Bambang said he would use new technology that is friendly to the environment.
"There are no more pesticides that are not environmentally friendly, we must do everything according to environmental principles because the capital city of Nusantara is green, so it must meet environmental principles," he said.

In addition, he said, to support food security in the archipelago, it was achieved not only independently but in collaboration with partner areas.
"We cannot stand alone, there is such a thing as a food supply chain or food supply chain, it is how IKN Nusantara and partner areas jointly carry and collaborate as much as possible to meet food needs in the capital city of Nusantara," said Bambang.
He invited the public to become farmers in the modern capital city.
"Everything is a resident of the capital city, so now farmers in Samboja, Loa Kulu, Loa Janan, Muara Jawa are all residents of the capital city of the archipelago, so I ask everyone to be ready to become citizens of the capital city of the archipelago. God willing, next year," said Bambang.
According to him, farmers in IKN Nusantara must implement agricultural technology innovations.
No longer can friends (farms) use the usual method because it is a national reference, everyone sees what the capital city farmers are like," he said.
