Humanitarian Concert for Gaza Collects IDR 273 Million, Donations Still Open

JAKARTA - The Humanitarian Concert for Gaza which was held at M Bloc Live House announced the total money collected which would be donated to civilian victims of the humanitarian tragedy in Palestine.

From ticket sales for the seven concert series which took place between November 21 and December 13, the M Bloc Foundation stated that 87 percent of the donated tickets had been sold.

"To date, 87 percent of donations have been collected or IDR 273,700,000 of the target of IDR 315,000,000 from the audience," said Wendi Putranto, Chair of the Creative Culture Radar Foundation (M Bloc Foundation) in his statement, Tuesday, November 21.

Wendi said that this donation did not include proceeds from sales of t-shirts, drinks, souvenirs, as well as other donations via QR Code that would be received by the M Bloc Foundation.

"We will periodically report the amount of donations via Instagram @mblocspace," he said.

Meanwhile, tickets can be obtained via Loket.com at a price of IDR 100,000 per event session.

Meanwhile, merchandise consists of three t-shirt designs donated by the Humanitarian Concert for Gaza which can be purchased for IDR 150,000 in the M Bloc area.

The Humanitarian Concert for Gaza involves 16 performers who will play for free. They are Efek Rumah Kaca, The Adams, Seringai, The Brandals, David Bayu, Danilla, Lomba Magic, Endah N Rhesa, The Panturas, Rocket Pilot Group, SORE, .Feast, Kunto Aji, Bin Idris, Mustache and Beard and White Shoes and The Couples Company.

Cholil Mahmud from Efek Rumah Kaca emphasized that what was presented through the Humanitarian Concert for Gaza was a form of anger at the genocide that occurred in Palestine.

“From tonight until December 13, M Bloc Space facilitates our anger and anger into something that might have a direct impact on the victims of the genocide in Palestine. "No contribution is wasted, nothing is wasted," said Cholil Mahmud, Tuesday, November 21.
