Qualcomm Introduces Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, Take A Peek At The Specifications!
JAKARTA Following the news of the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm introduced another series of its chipset, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with features richer than its lineup.
From Qualcomm claims, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3's performance increased by 15 percent compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. GPU in Gen 3 also increased by more than 50 percent, while its power was up to 20 percent less efficient.
All of these capabilities are supported by 4 nanometers which have one Prime core of 2.63 GHz, three Performa cores of 2.4 GHz, and four Efficiency cores of 1.8 GHz.
This latest generation Snapdragon 7 comes with spatial audio via head tracking and a new Snapdragon Seamless multi-device feature introduced at the end of last October.
Meanwhile, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 supports Google Ultra HDR shooting on Android 14 and can take pictures from three cameras at the same time. This new chipset also has some Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based features.
The first AI feature to be brought in is AI Remosaic to remove speckled color changes with high resolution so that the color on the image becomes brighter. In addition, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 also comes with AI Engine capabilities.

This one AI performance comes with a better 60 percent watt. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3's AI Engine is supported by INT4, the revolutionary AI precision format, the latest version specifically for series 7.
One thing that cannot be left out of the chipset is its download capability. The third generation of this 7 series uses the Snapdragon X63 5G Modem-RD System which can download up to 5Gbps.
This chip supports Dual-Active (DSDA) Dual-SIM with 5G connectivity, including 5G+4G configuration. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 also supports a three-frequency location for higher accuracy.
Qualcomm will give the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 to Honor, a Chinese phone, and Vivo. Both devices with this new Qualcomm chip will be announced next month.
