3 Proposals For The Substitute Name Of The Bogor Regent Handed Over To The Ministry Of Home Affairs
BOGOR - The Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, sent three names of proposals for the Bogor Regent to the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs.
The three names were chosen to replace Iwan Setiawan whose term of office ended in December 2023.
"The three names of candidates for regents are proposed by the DPRD factions to be submitted to the center (Kemendagri) on the 8th," said the chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Rudy Susmanto, Thursday, November 16.
Rudy explained, initially, the DPRD received 10 names proposed by factions, community groups, and youth in the Bogor Regency DPRD.
From these names, the DPRD then held meetings, discussed together, so that three names appeared suitable to be proposed to the center.
After that, the proposal for three candidates for the Acting Regent of Bogor to replace Iwan Setiawan was determined in 2024.
In the plenary meeting, the DPRD announced the names of three candidates for the Acting Regent of Bogor.
The three names, namely Juanda Dimansyah, are now the Head of the Bogor Regency Education Office.
Nurdin, Director of Deconcentration, Assistant Tasks and Cooperation of the Directorate General of Regional Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Then, TB Chaerul Dwi Sapta, Director of Facilitation of Village and Traditional Institutions, PKK, and Posyandu of the Directorate General of Village Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"We don't choose the best because all those proposed are good and great people. If we can propose all the names, we will definitely propose, but we have to consider the representation of officials from the Bogor district," he said.
"Of the three names, hopefully those who are elected can bring a good vision and mission for Bogor Regency in the future," he added.
Meanwhile, Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan said his leadership period would end at the end of this year.

Therefore, he hopes that whoever is elected as his replacement must continue and carry out the policies or programs that have been set in the APBD.
"I hope that the process of proposing the Bogor Regent's PJ can run well and smoothly in accordance with the provisions and applicable laws and regulations to ensure the continuity of public development and services in the Bogor Regency area," he said.
