Erick Thohir Opens Up If There Is Criticism From The Presidential Candidates About BUMN Performance
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir admitted that he was open if there were criticism or suggestions from presidential candidates (candidates) related to the performance of state-owned companies.
This is in response to criticism from one of the presidential candidates, namely Ganjar Pranowo, regarding the performance and condition of state-owned companies, especially state-owned enterprises in the work sector.
"So these are things that I feel criticism and suggestions, I am open, now the era of the election. There will definitely be Mr. Anies talking about something, Mr. Ganjar said something, Mr. Prabowo said something," he said at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Thursday, November 9.
"As a professional minister, I have to accept it rather than input, criticism, or suggestions, because this is the dynamic that is happening," continued Erick.
Currently, continued Erick, he continues to focus on fixing all state-owned companies under the Ministry of SOEs.
Improvements are made in terms of financial performance, as well as maintaining the sustainability of the company in the long term.
"And as a minister who has only served for four years, I am trying to continue to improve the existing BUMN-BUMN conditions," he said.
