The Minister of Health said that the handling of Mpox was not carried out openly, but was carried out in collaboration with the community of LSL observers in order to reduce the stigma that could complicate efforts to prevent the disease.

In addition, the Ministry of Health is also trying to procure 4,500 doses of vaccine, as well as 1,008 bottles of tecovirimat antiviral, as an effort to treat Mpox sufferers who are predicted to be available in the fourth week of November.

"So, we will give vaccines not to everyone, but to groups with special risk factors, medicines are also available, antivirals are also available, and we have brought them," said the Minister of Health.
