Starting In 2024, Posyandu Cadre Incentives In Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Increase To IDR 500 Thousand

BATULICIN - Regent of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, HM Zairullah Azhar increased the incentives for integrated service post cadres (posyandu) from IDR 200 thousand per person per month to IDR 500 thousand starting in 2024."Insyaallah, this plan will be realized in the 2024 period," said Zairullah at the closing of the Posyandu Technical Guidance (Bimtek) event in Batulicin, Antara, Monday, November 6.The increase in incentives is to motivate posyandu cadres to work better, especially in handling stunting cases in this area.The Regent of Tanah Bumbu also asked posyandu cadres to increase their capacity and quality of work when providing services to the community."Hopefully, posyandu cadres and elderly cadres will become cadres to drive health development, especially maintaining the health of mothers and toddlers, which in turn increases the health level of the Bumi Subjud community," said Zairullah.According to him, if posyandu cadres are great and intelligent, then the target of reducing the stunting rate by 14 percent will be achieved by 2024 according to the central government's target.Zairullah said 292 posyandu cadres from 152 posyandu in Tanah Bumbu.Previously, the Tanah Bumbu Regency Government received an award as the third best district in South Kalimantan from the Directorate General of Regional Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the assessment of the performance of eight stunting reduction convergence actions for the 2022 period.
Based on the rating of the performance assessment of the district/city government locus and national locus in the implementation of eight stunting reduction convergence actions in South Kalimantan 2022 for the 2021 assessment period, the best is Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency followed by Tabalong Regency and Tanah Bumbu Regency.
