SEMA Show 2023: Toyota Showcases Monster Truck Style Land Cruiser
JAKARTA - The US-based international modification event, namely the Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show 2023, will take place from October 31 to November 3, 2023.
In this event held in Las Vegas, a number of automotive manufacturers and modification companies and aftermarkets will showcase their work
Toyota also enlivens exhibitions with unusual concepts. The Japanese manufacturer showcased a 1966 Land Cruiser FJ45 truck pickup with extreme off-road changes equipped with large suspensions, tires and engines, making it look like a 'Monster Truck' car.
Every year we are lucky enough to be able to build a special SEMA project vehicle. With the return of the Land Cruiser to the US market, it makes sense to create rock cranes, so this is our opinion on the 1966 Toyota FJ45 Pickup Truck," said Marty Schwerter, as Toyota Motorsports' manager team, on the company's official website, Tuesday, October 31.
The truck's body stands in the middle of a large BF Goodrich Krawler T/A KX wheel measuring 42 inches mounted on a 20-inch beamlock method wheel. The new component significantly improves the ground clearance, equipped with a fully trailing arm suspension redesigned with Fox shock and Eibach spring. Furthermore, the foundation of this vehicle has been replaced with a stronger frame, tube chassis, and roll cage.
Moving to the cabin, the car has a two-seater configuration of Momo total Evo which has been reworked by Complete Customs with box-themed seat according to the original. The steering wheel comes from Sir Jackie Stewart's car which won the 1968 F1 world title with a dashboard and center console featuring the same paint as the exterior.
The 'Monster Truck' is powered by a wild V8 engine originating from the current NASCAR car that has been developed by TRD, resulting in 725 dk of power with a MagnaFlow exhaust making the engine roar clear even a long distance.

Power is channeled to wheels via automatic transmission of 3 speeds by Rancho Drivetrain Engineering with the help of differential Currie fronts and backs as well as the transfer of case Advanced Adapter Atlas.
The manufacturer claims that this car can go at a speed of 19 km/h in the lowest teeth or go up to 266 km/hour in the highest teeth with a round of 7,000 rpm.
