Hylo Open 2023 Schedule in Germany, 5 Indonesian Representatives Appear
JAKARTA - Hylo Open 2023 will take place in Germany starting Tuesday, October 31. A total of five Indonesian representatives will appear in the match which will start at 08.00 a.m. or 13.00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
In this BWF 300 level championship, Indonesia only sent five representatives. The five Indonesian representatives consisted of two women's doubles and three mixed doubles.
The two women's doubles who will appear in the round of 32 on Tuesday, October 31 are, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.
From the mixed doubles sector there are Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, and Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti.
In the first round, Apriyani/Fadia will face United States representatives Annie Xu/Kerry Xu. Meanwhile, Febriana/Amalia will meet Indian representatives Tanisha/Ashwini.
Rehan/Lisa will clash with Denmark's representatives, Thyrri/Magelund, Dejan/Gloria will face hosts Germany's representatives, Volker/Kuspert, and Praveen/Melati will face Denmark's representatives Christiansen/Boje.
Even though it is a level 300 match, the Hylo Open championship is still important because it is included in the Road to Olympics score. Therefore, it is believed that Apriyani/Fadia will try to perform optimally in this event in order to gain points.
Interestingly, in Apriyani/Fadia's journey, they have the potential to clash with Febriana/Amalia. This duel will occur if the two women's doubles pairs advance to the last eight.
