North Kalimantan Provincial Anniversary, Governor Zainal Talks About Achievement
TANJUNG SELOR Commemoration of the 11th Anniversary of North Kalimantan Province is a reflection of the 34th provincial journey. The Governor of Kaltara, Zainal A Paliwang, said this was something to be grateful for.
The province, which was formed under Law (UU) Number 20 of 2012, has a long journey.
"We want to be very grateful and reflect on the journey of 11 years. I invite the whole community to jointly realize the changing, advanced and prosperous Province of North Kalimantan," said the Governor at the Office House Hall, Tuesday (24/10) night.
He also conveyed his highest appreciation to all community leaders, religious leaders, youth, and all elements of society who played an important role in making a positive contribution in advancing Kaltara.
The governor also believes that local products have quality that is not inferior to foreign products. In addition, by consuming local products, the community can also help improve the regional economy.
"We must be proud of Kaltara's local products. We must support our local products, so that our economy can progress," he said.
The governor explained that the Kaltara Provincial Government will continue to improve development in the Kaltara region. One of the efforts is to encourage increased production and consumption of local products.
"We will continue to socialize and promote local Kaltara products," he explained.
Therefore, the Governor invited the people of Kaltara to show Indonesia that if the continental (so-called Kaltara) is a prosperous province.
"Let us together build a prosperous Kaltara. We must be proud of Kaltara," he said.
The governor said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) once said that North Kalimantan is Indonesia's future.
This is because Kaltara has great potential, especially in the fields of energy, agriculture, and tourism.
President Jokowi said Kaltara would become one of the centers of new economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, the provincial government will continue to carry out development in Kaltara.
"Kaltara has enormous potential. We will continue to support development in Kaltara," he concluded.
