Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift Again Caught On Camera With Minor Change
JAKARTA - Since its debut in 2021, Hyundai Ioniq 5 has managed to steal the attention of many automotive fans thanks to futuristic design and impressive performance as an electric car. No wonder this prompted the South Korean producer to prepare a facelift version to expand their electric vehicle lineup.
Recently, photos revealing an Ioniq 5 unit that is being tested with camouflage cloaks have circulated, suggesting the possibility of a facelift. However, it does not appear that this crossover will undergo any significant changes.
According to a Carscoops report, Monday, October 23, the car is clearly visible, featuring its distinctive design curves. The front and back of the LED do not appear to have experienced any striking changes from the previous version.
The changes seen in this car are mainly located at the bottom of the front and rear bumpers. Although closed, it is clear that the design of the lower airways looks different.
In addition, it seems Hyundai will also make adjustments to the position of the parking sensor. The camouflaged part includes the front hood, the side of the car, and the overall look on the back. It is possible that the manufacturer will change slightly the retro typical motifs on Ioniq 5, although this possibility looks very small.
With the facelift version of the trial underway, it is estimated that Hyundai will launch it in 2024 considering that Hyundai has also just introduced Ioniq 5 N.
