Gibran Ready To Be Sanctioned By PDIP Because He Is Forward In The Presidential Election To Become Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka is ready to accept sanctions from the PDI-P (PDIP) by strengthening the issue that he will run in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

It is known that Gibran is predicted to be accompanying Prabowo Subianto as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres). In fact, he is a PDIP cadre who has brought Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"Ready (PDIP DISanction, ed)," said Gibran when met at the Proclamation Monument, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, October 21.

Gibran admitted that he had met with the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani, to discuss the plan to nominate herself as the reading of Prabowo's vice president. However, he did not answer firmly how his party status was.

"Earlier I answered, I met Ms. Puan," said Gibran.

Previously reported, Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto stated that his party agreed to propose Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) accompanying Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). This agreement was taken after the internal party held a meeting on Friday night, October 20.

The son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has also received a decree from the party bearing the banyan symbol on Saturday, October 21.

He has also visited a number of party chairmen who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, such as Zulkifli Hasan who is the General Chair of the National Mandate Party (PAN) and Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Yusril Ihza Mahendra.
