Focus On Becoming Mayor, Bima Arya Refuses To Get Involved In Prabowo's Winning Team

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PAN DPP Bima Arya admitted that he was still focused on becoming the Mayor of Bogor and was reluctant to enter or be involved in Prabowo's winning team.

This was said, the Chairman of the PAN DPP Bima Arya at Bogor City Hall, Saturday, October 21. Bima also admitted that he was more interested in becoming a campaign interpreter for his wife Yane Ardian as a candidate for the legislature of the DPR.

"I think I want to focus on completing the task in Bogor as a walkot. I need to concentrate, and I want to focus," said Bima.

For the remaining less than two months as Mayor of Bogor, Bima admitted that he was still focused on completing his work before his term of office which ended in December 2023.

In addition, Bima is also ready to become a campaign interpreter for his wife Yane to run as a candidate for the DPR RI representing PAN with the electoral districts of Bogor City and Cianjur.

"I want to be a campaign manager for Mrs. Yane. In the past (walkot 2 periods) I was assisted by Mrs. Yane and it was time for me to go down the mountain," said Bima.

Previously, Yane Ardian had registered as a candidate for legislative candidate for the DPR RI to the General Election Commission (KPU).

Yane became a legislator in the Electoral Area (Dapil) of West Java III which includes Bogor City and Cianjur from the National Mandate Party (PAN).

This was revealed when Yane attended the Halal Billalal PAN event at the Royal Bogor Hotel, Sunday, May 14, 2023. The event was opened by the Secretary General of the PAN DPP Eddy Soeparno and attended by Babeleg and hundreds of PAN cadres from Bogor City.

After the activity, Yane confirmed that his presence at the PAN event as a leg of the party bearing the white sun was shining.

"Yes, that's right (the DPR RI legislative list from PAN). Bismillah yes. Please pray for it," said Yane.
