Lampung Police Reveals Land Losses At The Margatiga Dam Of IDR 439 Billion
BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Regional Police (Polda) revealed that the potential loss to the state due to alleged corruption in the procurement of inundated land in Trimulyo Village, Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency for the construction of the Margatiga Dam reached around Rp439 billion.
"The potential value of the state loss is based on the results of an audit of the total state payments of 1,438 and 306 inundation plots affected by the Margatiga Dam," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadilah Astutik, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 21.
The audit was carried out in two stages, namely the first stage was carried out on 1,438 inundation plots of land, and based on the results of the examination of the Lampung Provincial Representative BPKP Number: PE.04.03/LHP-154/PW08/2/2023 dated May 11, 2023, there was the potential for overpayment as a result of planting, after determining the location.
After determining the location, he said, there was a mark up and a fictitious calculation of plants, buildings, ponds and fish in the land parcels at the construction of the Margatiga Dam which had not yet been released amounting to Rp425,397,437,600 from the proposal for compensation money before the audit amounted to Rp507,598,939,743.
In fact, he said, the amount worth paying as compensation is IDR 82,201,502,142.
In the second phase of the audit, said Fadilah, of 306 inundation plots, there were marked ups and fictitious calculations of plants, buildings, ponds and fish in land parcels during the construction of the Margatiga Dam which had not yet been released amounting to Rp14,148,053,186 (saving potential state losses) from the proposed proposal for compensation money before audit of Rp23,983,48,885.

Meanwhile, the amount that is feasible to be paid as compensation money to the owners of the field is IDR 9,835,395,699, so that from the results of the two audits, IDR 439,545,490,786 has been saved.
Previously, the Lampung Regional Police took over the handling of alleged corruption in the procurement of inundated land in Trimulyo Village, Sekampung, East Lampung Regency for the construction of the Margatiga Dam for the 2020-2022 Budget Year.
