Manggarai's'frontman' Becomes A Police Target Since The Brawl In Manggarai Broke Again

JAKARTA - The police are investigating the case of an offer that occurred in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta. Tebet police chief, Kompol Jamalinus Nababan, said that his party had pocketed the people suspected of mobilizing the brawl.

"We are still investigating that we have marked several people who we consider the frontmen' (the leaders). We can identify some of the brawlers that we consider the frontmen'. But for who we make sure first," said Jamalinus, Friday, October 20.

Jamilinus explained that the incident began when a bazaar was held in the Pasar Rumput area of RW 12, Manggarai, South Jakarta. Then the RW 04 youth group with RW 05 were not allowed to enter the bazaar area.

"We suspect that in RW 012 there will be a youth bazaar. Young people make bazaars, they want to enter but there is no resistance. Maybe they can't enter," he said.

He explained that the brawl took place 20-25 minutes. The brawl was stopped after dozens of personnel went to the crime scene (TKP).

"We gave warning shots by two officers and immediately disbanded," he said.

His party continues to guard at the scene to prevent further clashes.

"We want this to be a concern until Sunday night at least. Tomorrow night it will still be a priority for security from the Polres and Polda. We will still strengthen security, so we will pay special attention first because of this incident," he concluded.
