Double Album Lenny Kravitz Released March 15, TK421 Song Becomes Opening

JAKARTA - Lenny Kravitz announced the details of a new double album titled Blue Electric Light which will be released on March 15. The rock musician also shared the album's main singer, TK421.

Blue Electric Light will be Kravitz's first album since Raise Vibration in 2018, and will be released through its own label, divided by BMG.

It will be the men's first 59-year-old doubles album and their 12th studio album overall, consisting of 12 songs he recorded in his studio in the Bahamas.

Kravitz wrote and played most of his own material, along with Kravitz's old guitarist and collaborator, Craig Ross.

Kravitz won the Grammy Award for Best Men's Vocal Rock Performance for four consecutive years from 1999 to 2002, setting the record for the most consecutive wins at award ceremonies for male artists.

The most famous songs include Fly Away (1998), Are You Gonna Go My Way (1993), and It Ain't Over 'til It's Over (1991).

Last month, Kravitz joined TikTok, with his first post in the form of a five-second video in which he wore his famous giant scarf and said, "Take your big scarf this is the first day of fall".

He was first spotted wearing the accessory in 2012 and then caused a lot of online memes.

In an interview in 2018 with Jimmy Fallon, Kravitz said: "The person who made the scarf, you can blame him. He made the scarf, and he gave it to me. And it was the day I thought I would wear it. I didn't expect there to be an exposure."

"I live in the Bahamas... I'm used to hot weather and I have to go to the shop. I'm buying some groceries and I think I'm going to wear a small scarf to protect my throat, and that's the scarf I have."

Earlier this year, Kravitz performed his song Calling All Angels with piano for the Oscars In Memoriam 2023 respect segment, which paid tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John, Vangelis, Jean-Luc Godard, James Caan, Ray Liotta and Angelo Badalaenti.
