Frey, a spokeswoman for Uniswap Labs, stated that the launch of the beta version of the Android app aims to address potential issues before releases to wider users, which is expected to take place before the end of this year.
This Uniswap application is equipped with various features that make users able to exchange crypto more easily. These features include the ability to make exchanges (swap) in a short time, find new tokens easily, and price transparency to understand transaction fees.
Amazingly, this app allows users to switch automatically between the main blockchain network, such as Ethereum, and layer-2 scaling networks such as Optimism or Arbitrum.
Uniswap Labs has also added swap protection or swap protection' into their Android mobile wallets to protect users from attacks such as frequent sandwich and frontrunner hacking attacks in the DeFi world. This will make the default swap a private transaction, so that users are protected from MEV attacks.
