Working Visit To Central Europe, OIKN Promotes IKN To These 3 Countries
The Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) represented by OIKN Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, Director of Green Transformation Agus Gunawan, and Director of Financing Muhammad Naufal Aminuddin paid a working visit to three countries in Central Europe, namely Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria.
This visit was made to promote IKN as Indonesia's new capital city in the future and to attract foreign investment.
"Through this visit, the IKN Authority has identified more than 10 business actors to be followed up on their desire to participate in IKN," said OIKN Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya in his official statement, Tuesday, October 10.
On this occasion, Jaka said that his party explained an overview of the implementation of IKN Preparation, Development, Transfer and Government Implementation (4P), as well as the concept of smart cities and the progress of IKN development in front of Hungarian business actors.
"The Hungarian business actors seemed very enthusiastic about welcoming investment opportunities at IKN in the question and answer session. More than 43 companies in the fields of urban technology, energy, waste, geospatial technology, and water management were present at the Investment Opportunities Seminar agenda at IKN," he said.
Meanwhile, as many as 15 companies in the field of telecommunications and defense technology, energy, smart cities, and food also attended the presentation of investment opportunities at IKN Nusantara.
The OIKN delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Aspern Seestadt development area, a future modern city development project that prioritizes sustainable technology.

A working visit in Vienna was continued to a large wastewater treatment company in Austria, namely Aqua Consult, to discuss the company's participation in building IPAL facilities with energy efficiency technology in further development at IKN.
Furthermore, the OIKN delegation held a meeting with a business actor named EEE Austria, a company engaged in digital learning-based employee training that has collaborated with the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) of the Republic of Indonesia.
