Huawei Explains The Main Steps For Digital Transformation Of Electric Energy
JAKARTA - At the High Level Conference entitled Thrive with Digital, Accelerate Intelligence for Electric Power, Huawei conveyed the importance of systematically building core capabilities in line with the rapid development of new energy, for the industry.
Through his presentation, Electric Power Digitalization Business Unit CEO David Sun explained that changes in digital production, both at the level of awareness, organization, labor, increased productivity, as well as ecosystem innovation, could encourage smart evolution of power systems.
Sun added that digital transformation of electrical energy requires a computational power system with a safe and accurate network architecture and connection, so as to be able to bring smart computing, flexible response, and real-time.
He emphasized that in an all-digital era, an open Costa Rica Model is needed so that industrial and cross-border capabilities can be available to customers.

At the same time, Li Jiwei, Deputy Director of Digital Equipment Center of State Grid Information & Telecommunication Company, introduced the construction and practice of SGCC's future generation smart power data network.
"IPv6+ can significantly improve smart operations and maintenance as well as guarantees of a predeterminable experience. This is the basis for developing the Internet energy in the next 10 years," Jiwei concluded.
