Secretary General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni said his General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep, would meet with PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani tomorrow Thursday, October 5. The two are planned to meet in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta."The next Thursday they agreed to meet, stay in touch in a relaxed and family atmosphere," Toni told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, October 4.Toni said the meeting between the two had been arranged by the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP Utut Adianto. “ Tomorrow at 13.30 at a restaurant in the Menteng area,” he said.The Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN said that the relationship between PSI-PDIP was always good. So, Toni hopes that the meeting of the two party figures can run smoothly."Hopefully the meeting of Mas Kaesang and Mbak Puan will produce a lot of goodness," said Toni.
As previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said a letter containing a request for a meeting from PSI had been received. However, Megawati Soekarnoputri has not yet opened the letter as chairman."We have received the letter and also I have been contacted by the Secretary General (PSI) of Mr. King Antoni because the letter was addressed to the Chairperson of the PDI-P, of course, so we will convey it to Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri,” PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 3.“ Currently he is still in Malaysia and met Mahatir Mohamad and also Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,” he continued.
