18 Years Of Acting Vacuum, Come Back Asha Smara Darra Film Enters Busan International Film Festival
JAKARTA - Asha Smara Darra or Oscar Lawalata returned to acting after 18 years of the first film she played Banyu Biru. Asha himself played in one of the films directed by the film's busiest Borian production house, Basbeth's Storyroom and Visionari Capital Film Fund entitled 'Sara' where he played the main character, Sara.
Unexpectedly, there was a long hiatus from the world of acting, the film that Beha played by Asha will be screened at one of the biggest film festivals in Asia, Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) which will be held from October 4 to 13.
Knowing this, Asha admitted that he was surprised about this news when he first found out. He even admitted that he himself did not know very well about BIFF before playing in this film.
"I was also surprised that my friends also asked how the distribution was, we also discussed it all. But Mail said that every door must be open by itself," said Asha Smara Darra in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Monday, October 2.
"And suddenly there is Busan, I'm also 'What is the season?' I mean that I don't participate in Korean films or the film festival becomes Busan's largest Asian film fesitval. Wow," he continued.

But seeing this, Mario Lawalata's older brother explained that if the Sara film was accepted at an international festival, it would be a sign that this film had a strong message. For him it is a good sign and hopes to be a reflection if this film is worth watching.
"Until today I was offered to watch the film, I didn't want to. I've come to accept it, so just watch it, stay there. So, for that I was surprised," he added.
"And I feel this is a good sign of how to premier this film means that there is one strong point from the story of this film, so for me this is a good sign for the world to be able to accept us to talk about Busan, one of the biggest festival films to premiere this, so I hope this can be a reflection that this film really deserves to be present," he said.
